End of Year Meeting & Handbook Launch

The online community meeting will feature:

  • The launch a brand new resource to help residents' groups succeed in the critical, early stages of their fight against a pit or quarry: "Defend Your Community from Gravel Mining: An Orientation."
  • RGMC's 2024 Strategy
  • The launch of RGMC's 2024 Pay It Forward Campaign, to ensure that we can continue to provide free support to new front line groups in the coming year

We acknowledge that we work on the Treaty and traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Treaty 13 and the Williams Treaties, the Treaty and traditional territory of Williams Treaty Nations (Alderville, Hiawatha, Curve Lake, Hiawatha and Scugog Island, Beausoleil, Georgina Island and Rama Island First Nations). Ancestrally this territory was home to other First Nations including the Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and the Pentun peoples.
